I don't think that it bould be really much better, but at least it is more designed for that purpose.
Anyway the major problem for Windows integration is in Palabre itself, and I hope that i will have the time to change it for a much nicer integration under windows soon. (i hope for 0.5 )

Hi,
Currently under Windows, there is no "real" version.
This mean no "NT Service" , "Event logging", ... That's what i meant by QuickStart.
But it works exaclty the same, as a linux installed version with logging and startup scripts.
If you download the linux version you can use the PalabreQuickStarter.py too and edit the scripts to suit your needs.
So if you will install it for production under linux there is no problem, for windows it would be better to install and run it as an NT service.

Hi iam using Palabre-0.4 on my Windows XP Pro sp2 computer it works fine, but i can only start the server in QuickStart Mode... how to run it in "Normal mode". this my be a n00b questions but i really need to know...
iam the team leader and programer on MindGuiders (http://www.mindguiders.tk/). we are using Palabre to make a mmorpg game. look real good this far.
Plz help me
SORRY, website is currently mostly broken due to software changes on the server.
Hope to fix it soon ...
