test on web - 2006/06/17 13:33 i built a simple 2 player pong game in which 2 players each control a paddle with their mouse. i tested it locally and i works fine, but i would also like to see how it runs on the internet. i do not know how to set up the palabre server that is running on my computer to be accessed from a .swf file hosted somewhere online like imageshack.us .

Re:test on web - 2006/06/17 13:55 Hi !
For this to work on internet you have to install Palabre on the internet.
This can be your computer or any server you have access too.
Then you must specify the IP of the computer running Palabre for the connection (your computer IP, the server IP, ...)
But you should check first Firewall settings to open the required port.
There are other posts on the Forum about this.

Have fun

Re:test on web - 2006/07/17 03:46 Best thing to do is get a shell with python installed (with a fast internet connection). Learn a bit about SSH/Putty and you should be able to set up a python server relatively easy.

SORRY, website is currently mostly broken due to software changes on the server.
Hope to fix it soon ...

In the meantime you may still download palabre or use the forum
